Rorze Corporation was established in Japan in 1985 with a goal to achieve customer satisfaction through Innovative product research, development, and service.
In just over 15 years, Rorze has grown to be a global leader in developing and delivering robotic systems to supply automation solutions to the semiconductor industry. With over 800 employees and five subsidiaries plus the parent company, Rorze has delivered on its promise. Our continuing goal is to deliver the next generation of robotic automation products with exacting quality and performance standards.

Rorze Automation, Inc. was founded in 1996 to provide a direct path for the Rorze Group products to Silicon Valley. Rorze Automation is located in Milpitas in Northern California and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rorze Corporation in Japan. Although the initial emphasis was to serve as a field sales and service office, Rorze Automation now contributes to the design of new products and provides design modification services for its customers. The focus is on providing the best design, support, and service for corporate customers that need innovative semiconductor automation products. Rorze Automation is ready to respond to your robotic and wafer handling automation needs.

- Inspiration of the Rorze Name
The Rorze name inspires a special relationship between our corporation, our employees and our customers. Rorze (pronounced Ro-tsay) is named after Mount Lhotse which is adjacent to Mount Everest in China. Although not as famous, Lhotse silently supports the highest mountain in the world. In Chinese, the word Lhotse (Rorze) translates to enjoy, calmness, easy, diligent and excellent. The name fits perfectly with a company that quietly supplies innovative automation solutions to the giants of the semiconductor industry. While enjoying their work and developing new skills and technical expertise, our employees execute state-of-the-art designs focusing on customer requirements and satisfaction.
